Dry Chlorine Bleach, Powder 6% - 50 lb/Case

For use on white, colorfast dyed cottons or other bleach-resistant fabrics. Do not use on silk, wool or acetate. If in doubt, snip a small piece of fabric from a seam and soak for a few minutes in a solution prepared by dissolving 1/4 teaspoon of dry bleach in 3 pints of water. If there is discoloration, do not bleach fabric.

Directions: For upright washers, put the detergent and laundry in the tub. Fill with water. Then add two heaping tablespoons of dry bleach just as agitation starts. For front-loading washers, fill machine part way with water. Add one tablespoon of dry bleach. Put in laundry and detergent and finish in normal way. For badly stained fabrics, increase the amounts in the directions above.

For bleaching fabrics by hand, prepare a solution by adding a heaping teaspoon of dry bleach to two gallons of water.
